Ages: This gathering is best suited for families with children ages 2.5 to 5 years old, but younger siblings are warmly welcome!
Cost: This is a completely free event! Our gift to the community to share the magic of forest school.
Location: We'll meet at the Gabrielino Trailhead in Altadena, CA 91001.
Parking & Meeting Spot: Please park in the dirt parking lot and meet us at the start of the trail. Detailed map and parking instructions will be sent once you RSVP.

Is this event truly free? Yes! This is a complimentary event hosted by Little Finch Forest School to connect with families and share what we do.
What should we bring? Just bring yourselves, water bottles, and sun protection (hats, sunscreen). If you'd like to sit comfortably during the picnic, feel free to bring a picnic blanket or low camp chair.
What if it rains or gets too hot? We keep a close eye on the weather. We will notify all RSVPs of any changes or rescheduling only for extreme weather conditions, ensuring everyone's safety and comfort.
Will there be food or snacks? We'll provide a light, healthy snack for all attendees. However, feel free to bring your own food or picnic if you'd like to stay longer and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Can I enroll my child at the event? Absolutely! If you're interested in joining us for the upcoming fall session, we'll have information and enrollment forms available. Our teachers will be happy to chat one-on-one about our outdoor kindergarten and preschool programs and answer all your questions.
